The first Heuer Skipper watch appeared in the late 1960s and was based on the Carrera chronograph. Designed for professional and amateur sailors, this unique chronograph was introduced in several versions before the final full production model was released in 1983.
40 years later, TAG Heuer introduces the Carrera Skipper, a new generation of the Skipper derived from the recently launched “glassbox” Carrera, a model is being launched as part of the core collection. The watch will also be the flagship of a series of nautical models, marking TAG Heuer's return to the world of yachts and yachting.
